Solar Power Partners and Oro Loma District partnered with DRI Energy to design, build, and install the single-axis tracker project. DRI Energy used over 2,100 Trina Solar 220W panels on a Raytracker single-axis tracking system. The output from the solar array and the facility’s existing digester gas facility. Now the Oro Loma District is 100% self sufficient in its electrical needs. The system offest the equivalent of 590 metric tons of CO2, equal to the one-year greenhouse gas emissions of 113 passenger vehicles or the CO2 emissions from the electricity use of 72 homes for one year.
