TrinaTracker, a leading tracker manufacturer and subsidiary company of Trina Solar Co., Ltd., received the Report on Technology Review of Two Single-axis Tracking Systems: Agile-1P and Vanguard-2P issued by DNV, a leading independent energy expert and certification provider. The document reports Agile 1P and Vanguard 2P compatibility with large-format modules, contributing to an even stronger market position of TrinaTracker.
DNV implemented a complete system assessment to validate Agile-1P and Vanguard 2P, covering all aspects of the trackers, including design and structural calculations, supply chain capabilities, quality and environmental safety, control systems, reliability warranty, operations & maintenance as well as market performance and outlook.
DNV also evaluated TrinaTracker product life cycle reports, involving wind tunnel test, ground survey and engineering reports, authentication certificates, detailed drawings, pre-sales forecast, installation and O&M manuals, and after-sales services.
According to the report, TrinaTracker's certifications, design, manufacturing, and sales services are aligned with international standards concerning quality and environmental management. In addition, TrinaTracker adopts the FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) methodology in product development activities, establishing high standards, best practices, and strict optimization records in the industry.
According to the Quarterly Report of Trina Solar's Demonstration Project in Tongchuan, China, verified by CGC (China General Certification), a third-party certification and testing agent, TrinaTracker’s intelligent "SuperTrack" algorithm leads to an increase of up to 8% in power gain compared to traditional astronomical algorithms.
