Trinasolar's Vertex N Series Wins Global Reliability Awards, Strengthening Confidence in Pakistan's Solar Market
2025.07.07

Trinasolar, a global leader in smart PV and energy storage solutions, has earned prestigious global recognitions for its Vertex N series modules, reinforcing the brand's reputation for quality, performance, and reliability in fast-growing markets like Pakistan.

The awards were conferred at SNEC, the world's largest and most influential PV and smart energy trade show. Trinasolar's Vertex N series modules earned multiple reliability awards from leading third-party testing organizations including Kiwa PV Evolution Labs’ (Kiwa PVEL) and Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC).

Notably, Trinasolar has been named a Top Performer in Kiwa PVEL's 2025 PV Module Reliability Scorecard, marking the 11th consecutive year the company has received this prestigious honor. Additionally, the company was recognized as an “Overall Highest Achiever” in the 2025 PV Module Index Report by RETC for the fifth consecutive year. This is a rare distinction based on comprehensive testing for reliability, quality, and performance under harsh conditions such as 55mm freezer iceball impacts, followed by 50 thermal cycles and hot-spot endurance testing.

Trinasolar's Shield extreme climate solution module's glass is 25% thicker than that of conventional modules and its resistance to energy impact 2.5 times greater. In severe hailstorms the Shield solution can withstand 75mm at 60°, showing industry-leading stability and reliability under extreme weather.

The awards come at a pivotal time for Pakistan's solar industry, where demand for high-efficiency and quality modules is raising across industrial, commercial, and utility segments. Trinasolar's modules are available in 725W (large format) and 645W and 600W (medium format), featuring n-type i-TOPCon technology, enhanced bifacial power generation, and ultra-low degradation, making them ideal for Pakistan's challenging climate.

“Congratulations to Trinasolar for being named a Top Performer for the 11th year,” said Tristan Erion-Lorico, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Kiwa PVEL. “The consistency of Trinasolar's performance across our Scorecards, year after year, showcases the company's ability to continuously meet evolving industry standards and reliability expectations.”

Cherif Kedir, CEO and President of RETC, also commended the brand, “Trina's high-efficiency, high-power modules performed exceptionally well in our tests. Among all the manufacturers we evaluated, only 12 are qualified and Trinasolar has consistently qualified for five consecutive years, which is truly impressive.”

The Vertex N series is already in use in several Pakistani projects, including Tahir Rafique Textile Mills (Faisalabad, 2.5MW), Crescent Steel Mill (Karachi, 561kW), Prema Milk – AT-TAHUR (Kasur, 202kW) and PKLI Hospital (Lahore, 1MW). These installations help businesses reduce energy costs, improve sustainability, and meet net-zero targets.

Trinasolar's global achievements are now more accessible in Pakistan following recent partnerships with leading distributors such as Mesol, Diwan, NMC Group and Premier Energy. These collaborations ensure Vertex N modules are widely available to support Pakistan's ambitious goal of installing over 10GW of solar capacity by 2030.

Gao Lei, Head of Global Product Management at Trinasolar, said “Reliability is the cornerstone of long-term value and customer trust. We’re honored to receive multiple reliability awards, which reflects our strong product quality and industry-leading innovation. Trinasolar will continue to deliver high-performance, reliable products that create lasting value.”
