What’s the weight of the Clear Black product? 

Despite its advanced features and superior performance, the Vertex S+ 440W is practically the same weight (21kg) as our previous rooftop products like the all black Vertex S panels. In fact it is even 0.8 kg lighter. This makes it easy for rooftop installers to handle safely, ensuring a smooth and efficient installation process. The weight of the module has been carefully optimised to provide the best balance between durability, performance, and ease of installation. 


What are the differences between the two Vertex S+ modules?

The main difference between the two Vertex S+ modules is the white and transparent rear encapsulants. NEG9R.28, with its white rear encapsulant has a slightly higher power output of 450W, than NEG9RC.27’s 440W. However, the NEG9RC.27 is a bifacial module with a clear design which gives a premium aesthetic on black rooftops. The module has a bifaciality of 85% making it ideal for applications like carports, sunroofs and places where light can be absorbed from the front and rear of the module. 


How do Vertex S+ modules perform in cold and low light conditions?

Trina Solar panels are designed to perform well in a variety of conditions, including regions with high snow loads and low sunlight. Here are some key points to consider:
